SGranada Spatial Portfolio
An interactive portfolio built around the medium that connects my work: 3D.
- My contribution
- Concept and visual direction, atrium modeling and texture development, and camera animation in Maya.
- Project tools
- Autodesk Maya · React · TypeScript · Three.js · React Three Fiber · FFmpeg / FFprobe · OpenAI Codex
The atrium
I wanted people to explore my work through the same medium I use to create it. Each room represents a different part of my practice, connected through a central atrium.

Concept direction
The spaces draw from the work they hold. An arena with a floating screen reflects my experience with AR graphics. A small virtual set includes robotic cameras, and the XR / Volume room represents productions where the backdrop helps set the scene. The 3D room is an artist's workstation. For the AI room, I imagined a brain connecting the projects.

Room concepts
I used ChatGPT to explore the concepts I had in mind, then began building the atrium in Maya and developing its texture atlas with generated imagery. To bring a first version together, I directed Codex to generate the other rooms as starting points. Codex also built the website and interactions.

Room development

Camera animation
I animated the camera paths in Maya using a rig Codex helped me create. Its controls made it easier for me to shape the movement through the spaces.
My priority is to put my work in place and communicate the idea of the portfolio. I plan to refine the generated room geometry and polish the spaces afterward. The aim is to let people experience how I use 3D to bring ideas to life.
